The increasing demand for electric curtain tracks with more and more kinds of applications was reason enough for us to proceed to further research and technical development! We renewed the drive elements of our successful electric curtain track system 5060 completely and optimized its technique and power output! The pleasant look of the system with its small rail dimensions of only 26 x 22 mm didn’t change. We also kept the well-tried conveyor concept, based on an endless transportation belt, however, we optimized it regarding power exploitation, friction and noise: for example the punched transportation belt is now replaced by a toothed belt.This new, toothed belt with its special spacing and its resistant coating on both sides reduces the friction in the rail by more than 50 % and at the same time, it is very precise and free of stretching. Larger rails are now possible, up to 21 m are no problem. Simultaneously, the power exploitation has considerably improved due to the easy running of the new toothed belt, so that the system needs less and therefore cheaper motor power, even for curtains with a wheight of up to 90 kgs. All in all an optimized system which will convince your customers as the success of our curtain track system goes without saying! Curtain tracks with a length of more than 7 m are connected by means of a new, very solid rail coupling made of galvanized aluminium. Another advantage of the new toothed belt is the extremely reduced noise of the curtain tracks. A quiet and smooth running is guaranteed due to the form-fit load transmission.Not only the belt drive is renewed, also the runner with traverse joint is now completely reworked. Main subject here were solidity and functionalism. All metal parts of the runner are made of stainless steel and are thicker and more solid now. The overlap of curtains in two parts has been increased up to 180 mm.In order to give you not only technical highlights but also arguments on hand, which meet with the commercial requirements of your customers, we considered both within our research work: a technical optimization and at the same time constant prices. We ended up with an optimized system and prices for ready made curtain track rails are as reasonable as before! Finally, we also improved the antifrictional qualities of the wheels inside the runners – with a very good result! Also the manually operated curtain tracks which work with ball chain, profit from the technical development and improvement of the conveyor belt drive. The maximum width of 5 m is now extended to a maximum width of 7 m for curtain tracks with an curtain weight up to 20 kgs. Furtheron, also bent curtain track rails can now be operated manually.The motorization of our sundrape® curtain tracks varies from 30 W, 45 W and up to 65 W, which is our new, extra strong motor.
